Its not allowing me to send the Scyther. I think its because of the Sports ball, everything else is legal.

Finished completing the dex just hours before the year ended.

Breeding was the entire point of this commitment because all I'm after was the shiny charm. Now I can get busy breeding for shiny battle-ready mons.

Hmm... I feel like Sun's main selling point is Solgaleo and Alolan Vulpix and Ninetales. However, I chose Moon because I liked the exclusive Pokémon for that game better and I thought the night/day aspect to be more interesting than that of Sun. On top of that, I just liked Lunala better

So, I guess, think about what Box Legendary you really want and whether that outweighs any of the exclusive Pokémon made available to each separate game. If game exclusive Pokémon are not a huge concern for you, then just decide on the Box Legendary

If you're interested in competitive, I say Lunala is a lot better because of its ability, its extensive movepool that just covers so much, and its typing. Ghost/Psychic is pretty lit this Gen when you know you don't have to worry about priority Sucker Punch if given the right circumstances, and with decent-ish defensives with an awesome HP stat and access to an ability that is basically just Ghost-type Multiscale, you're going to at least get one massive hit off or be able to set up a bit more easily than Solgaleo would

Solgaleo, on the other hand, has a ton of resistances due to its Steel/Psychic typing, but falls short in its movepool and its viability in battle. Tbh, Solgaleo can get taken out by Lunala well before Solgaleo can take out Lunala; a 252 Adamant Choice Banded Crunch by Solgaleo doesn't even taken Lunala out with 0 HP and Defense investments, unless if by a lucky crit. Also, at the end of the day, Solgaleo is just a faster Metagross with more HP, but since Metagrossite is available to purchase in the games, Solgaleo is completely outclassed Mega Metagross

On top of that, Solgaleo and Lunala's mutual main worries are probably Mega Gengar, Yveltal, Greninja, and maybe Darkrai, Arceus, and Hoopa, but Lunala is just better at dealing with those than Solgaleo ever could, and Solgaleo has even more to deal with because of Landorus, Primal Groudon, Mega Lucario, Mega Blaziken, and Ho-Oh. If this was Gen II-V, Solgaleo would be neutral to Ghost and Dark which would make it slightly better than or equal to Lunala, but this is Gen VII and Solgaleo has a lot on his plate that he just can't finish off when Lunala can and Mega Metagross can better than Solgaleo

But if competitive is not your scene, just choose which Legendary you like best and which game exclusive Pokémon you like best

thanks so much  I was leaning to the Moon side already but this has convinced me 

The only things that bothers me is that I wont get alolan vulpix, turtonator (mess at Drampa tbh) and Kartana ( other UBs look amazing tho, so I dont mind  )

Lol, I'm sure somebody on here can get you Vulpix and Ninetales. I'm actually going to breed one in a Love Ball for myself soon, same with Turtonator but not in a Love Ball. As for Kartana, there's four Kartana in Sun, two Buzzwole in Sun, four Pheromosa in Moon, two Celesteela in Moon, and two Xurkitree in each game. At least, that's what I can gather from looking up the UBs, but I have yet to start hunting them down
