I guess what I'm trying to say is, ok, maybe J.Law's Mystique would make more sense in a solo movie commercially, but I don't think it would make the best movie. Maybe it's just me, but there are other characters I'm more interested in...but I like the idea of the movie adopting Mystique's hero/villain perspective. Another character that I think is relevant enough to have his own solo film is Magneto, then Mystique comes afterwards. I like Storm but I don't think it's practical to make a movie solely based on her. She used to be my favorite X-Men.

Law's magnanimous personality tbh The really important, but unrelated, question is why hasn't Black Widow gotten her own movie yet I think Marvel has been considering that, maybe they decided to make her more relevant through Captain America and Iron Man so that when they make a Black Widow solo film people would pay to watch her. I'm more of a fan of DC (+ X-Men from Marvel) fan so I don't really care about Black Widow.
Anderson123 38,435
NOT before Gambit. I've been waiting for Gambit to have his moment ever since I sit at the cinema to watch X-Men in 2000. I know he was in Origins but I feel like he didn't shine there. He's been my favorite character from the franchise since I was a kid and he deserves that solo movie. As for Jennifer Lawrence. I like her, but Rebecca was a much better Mystique. One of the things I didn't like about Apocalypse was that she was wearing her "disguise" for like 80% of her scenes. I know you don't like wearing a body suit and sitting for hours to play a cool character JLaw, but it's part of the job. Rebecca had to sit for like 8 hours and she managed to look and act fantastic. They could use the time to tie in the story between Hydra becoming Russian (when they were originally German) and Natasha's backstory, so the time to do it is sometime between now and the next Avengers movie. I hope they do it, even if the internet bros will be pissed In fact, especially in light of all the guys getting pissed that she gets her own movie 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから

Gagaplayer315 14,078
Mystique has been a key character to the new Xmen movies she literally doesn't need more attention, specially not when Jennifer Lawrence is playing her.

They have introduced Mystique a lot in the recent X-Men movies and people are familiar with her. Storm has been absent in several films (or had relatively smaller roles) in the later films. I think she has lost some popularity especially after the decision to replace Halle Berry whereas Mystique had been consistently portrayed by Jennifer Lawrence for many years, not to mention her roles had always been big. It would make much more sense to introduce a character familiar to us. Disagree, X-Men fans actually hate JLaw because lengths had been done to make her as main character while it never been the case in the comics. Many X-Men avid fans want to punch JLaw face as a Mystique especially in the latest ones, X-Men: Apocalypse, because it ruins the whole timeline of the comics. And since it mainly focusing on her, so many opportunity gone to show the rest of the character depths and abilities, such as Psylocke and Jubilee. Fans are underwhelmed by the film and that isn't a good sign at all. When someone make a film adapting from books or comics, they really need to cater to the grassroots fans first and foremost and general audience second. And make the films majorly faithful to the comics. The exact reasons why MCU are so successful. Aside of that, Storm is one of the first member of X-Men, and actually have origins comics, where as Mystique does not. And this is important because it will be the base of the character background. Although I enjoyed BvS, the DC avid fan majorly are not happy after watching it. Compare that to the last Batman trilogy which are well received by critics and fans alike and making banks. I liked it too, I think Zack was really good in the movie's action sequences, but then the plot wasn't too bad either. I thought it struck a good balance between plot and action. It wasn't as vapid as other superhero movies imo. So I approved that.
