I've never got pop singers cancelling there shows. 

A lot of singers have a major LGBT following, so cancelling there shows are potentially only really causing the victims more distress, which really isn't fair.

I'm starting to get on board with this means of "protest" than I originally was. Recent reports from local news outlets on how these cancellations have affected the lives of those working at the arenas have opened my eyes to how downright cancellations help no one. Yes they send large statements, but people lose hours, which in turn affects their ability to provide for themselves and/or their families. Whether or not they support the recent law, I still have some compassion for people (even if they don't have any for me as a gay man) and I hate to see people "suffer"

I seriously can't at how hypocrite those other pop-stars are for choosing to cancel their performances. If it's a homophobic non-western country that they have to perform in they won't even give any shits.
