brendablethyn 536
Democratic presidential contender Hillary Clinton has opened up a double-digit lead over Republican rival Donald Trump, regaining ground after the New York billionaire briefly tied her last month, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Friday. The shift in support comes as Clinton steps up her attacks on the real estate mogul's policy positions, and as Trump fends off criticisms of his eponymous university and the pace at which he doled out money that he raised for U.S. veterans. Some 46 percent of likely voters said they supported Clinton, while 35 percent said they supported Trump, and another 19 percent said they would not support either, according to the survey of 1,421 people conducted between May 30 and June 3. Trump had briefly tied Clinton in support among likely U.S. voters in mid-May, raising expectations for a tight race between the two likely contenders in November's presidential election. http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-election-poll-idUSKCN0YP2EX

LebaneseDude 6,146
Of course this is just a poll, and as such is not a reliable source of information, but fivethirtyeight gives the source IpsosĀ an A- in reliability so a double digit shift is indeed indicative of some change considering the margin of error. A significant portion of those 19% areĀ Bernie supporters who are still BernedĀ from the Democratic race or are hesitant to commit to Hillary,Ā undecided Independents who do not care for either but will vote on election day, and Drumpfstered Republicans who are distancing themselves from Trump but aren't still sure about any other options. Ultimately many will align with Clinton, and we're going to see a massive landslide the likes the USA has not seen since Reagan. Edited just now by LebaneseDude. I've bet money on Trump. This is just one poll, a snapshot at that point in time. "I am the world's greatest person that does not want to let people into the country."āUS President Donald J.
