Because he kinda is. Just look at his last album sales. He knows Gaga is also a way to sell albums and get some exposure.

Not saying he needs it, but there's definitely an interest. To be honest I think this next jazz album will flop, or being at least an underperformance compared to CTC.

This was me first thing in the morning smiling through the pain after reading this news.

I thought C2C was great and I wouldn't mind a follow up, but I'd rather haha something from Gaga before that happens. I completely understand why Tony would want to release to celebrate his 90th birthday, but I just wish there was some Gaga music for us to have enjoyed before that.

Exactly my opinion  

I loved CtC and I really want her to do another jazz album, but I think it would be better during the break between two pop albums (like she did with CtC)...

Honestly I'm not even excited by that jazz album as we had one recently and she did a full promo of it for a big part of 2015..

I really think she should return to pop music before releasing that album. Just my opinion.
