Texts show Amber was abused even before marriage

ET has exclusively obtained never-before-seen text messages between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp's assistant, Stephen Deuters, that date back to before the estranged couple was married -- and long before other incidents Heard previously detailed in court records.

The text exchange, which is from May 2014, begins with a message from Stephen who is apologizing on behalf of Depp.

You can be a victim of somethings awful and in turn take advantage of someone in the settlement. Nobody needs $50,000 a month.

She's a celebrity living in NYC. That's not a ridiculous amount of money for her, nor is it a large % age of Johnny Depps income or anything  He makes ~ $100 million in a year last I checked.

So just because she was abused physically she can't smile anymore? and u r also forgetting that she's a celebrity too. I'm sure she's not that desperate for money. I think the back lash against her is rooted in the lack of pride and dignity surrounding her allegations. There is something not quite right about a woman who already makes a tremendous amount of money as a successful actress demanding a monthly fee of fifty thousand dollars from her alleged abuser. Frankly, any one of the 850 million people starving to death around the world would willingly be punched in the face from time to time if it meant living in the lap of luxury.

If a person is a toxic part of your life, cut them out, don't strap yourself to them financially.

Yes because he earned that money. She's still worth millions and she is legally entitled to half his assets but she doesn't need anything from him. If she said she feels she deserves that amount of money, that's fair enough but to say she needs it is an insult to everyone living on the poverty line.

The word in question is need and whether she explicitly stated that or simply made her case for how much she should get, which is totally appropriate  

Regardless, people are allowed to be able to maintain a certain lifestyle after a divorce, especially women. I really don't see this as insulting to people on the poverty line, at least no more than any celebrity doing anything with their enormous amounts of money or any person at all giving into vanity

She has made 27,000 this year. That is a far cry from Johnny's millions. Nor is that a tremendous amount of money. Please don't compare a known celebrity to people starving to death all over the world. They are not comparable.
