She already had a pretty underground fanbase, so who knows now BWET was a great album, but the beats were reductive AF, especially since basically none were conceived for the album itself. Shes gonna have to try better imo if she wants to keep her very small mainstream appeal (does she have any? I'm just guessing ) Iggy. Idk how I feel about it, I was rooting for her with Team because she seems to have soaked in all of the epic criticism she received and I'm still holding out that Digital Distortion will have some good verses. I dont even care about how pop or rap the songs are tbh, or how "old school iggy" the production is, I just want her to show that she has a voice in hip-hop at all Meghan; I'll wait till her 3rd era to be sure tbh. I dont see a single song on Thank You being a hit. MAYBE Champagne Problems, but I mean if Nick Jonas releases his Champagne Problems It doesnt deserve one either, its probably one of the first pop albums of the 2010s ive listened to and just made an epic "meh" face afterwards with.
