youandi 2,110
I am really here for this as long as the album is varied. There's a difference between being cohesive and samey. I'd be proper disappointed with an album full of Uptown Funks or Back To Blacks. Also, some people are being ridiculously dramatic. I doubt she'll have scrapped the songs Elton spoke about and I'm sure if they were that good, the RedOne songs will still be on there. She isn't taking that long? It's not been three years yet and and 2-3 years is the normal cycle for big albums???

I mean, the haus is already in works (her IG post) that means atleast, there's a conceptual theme and plan already for the album and they're starting to put it into motion. That makes no sense. M I M I Z 946
If Gaga is confident with the songs she has for LG5, then why she wants to wait after the Grammys deadline to release her album? and if she's not, she's in huge trouble. + don't tell me the competition will be very easy in 2018, we still have to deal with Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, Sam Smith, and Ed sheeran and many other artists so
Bambino 24,266
I don't like the way he's talking as if he's the main or only producer on the album tbh and how it's all up to him. RedOne and his production better stay. And just finish this record already like wtf

Obviously she is aiming to replicate the success of Uptown Funk and it screams desperation, very dissapointed myself. The lack of originality these past few years has become glaringly obvious. Especially after her extremely creative DWUW and GUY music videos.. PUH-lease.... The amount of creativity is no where comparable to anything before ARTPOP. She is losing fans by the day. i doubt any song on the album will sound like uptown funk. gaga obviously has a different mindset regarding to music since the c2c era. so i'm sure she will never go back to bubblegum pop like ARTPOP. it will probably a mix of tfm, btw and mark ronson. also he is so much more than uptown funk. he has produced on some of the best albums and mark ronson's success with uptown funk has got nothing do with him producing her album. gaga obviously likes his work. and i'm okay with her losing fans, because she will relate more with fans who will relate to the music she's making now anyway. the ARTPOP days are over and should never have existed in the first place. it was gaga's way of experimenting and from here on she can only grow as an artist. i'm sure she would take the ARTPOP album back if she could. M I M I Z 946
Redone is one of the main MAIN reasons why Gaga is superstar. If it wasn't for him, she would still sing at bars till this day. God I can't stand ungrateful people
Snow 1,582
Well this doesnt sound very promising though I kind of was excepting November anyway, so who knows... Mark can be really good and this has potential, The only thing Im really worried of is that The whole disco,Motown, soulish has been done to death allready... Or that she will literally redo Back to Black and will get Slaughtered for "trying to be Amy reincarnated". Etc. Waiting is making me apprehencive... (Please don't be a utter mess) But The third option is what I still hope for, it will be unique cohesive brilliant innovative yet catchy enough music to show she wasnt a Flash in a Pan and goes back to a list. Scar97 1,625
One thing that I think needs mentioned is that the sound Gaga and Redone made together has been replicated a thousand times over by other artists. I'm not saying they can't create something fresh. I do think he helps her write very catchy hooks, which is super important. And he said he hopes his album is out BY the end of the year aka sometime before 2017. This isn't new information
