I don't think Sanders is willing to let Trump ruin the country. He'll probably endorse her in a lowkey manner, while continuing to drum up support and try again in 4 years. I keep hearing this, but not only would he be 78, but if Hillary wins this election this year then he would be effectively running against her as the incumbent president if he decides to run again in 4 years actually... The Democratic primary gives this perception that Dems make up the largest bracket of voters in this country. They don't. Independents do. She does poorly with Independents, so I wouldn't be surprised if the gap continues to widen against her. These polls shows trends, and currently, she is on a downward trend that will decline further after a violent convention. At this point, many people have chosen their candidate of choice, and the Bernie or Bust threat is a serious cause for concern. If Bernie isn't the nominee, then the winner of the gerneral will be whomever courts his supporters. Bernie himself stated that he can't snap his fingers, and order his supporters. They're mostly Independents who aren't bound by party loyalty. Hillary doesn't have it on lock. Hoping Bernie comes through at the convention!
