PaperIz 7,354
I more so want a traditionally animated Disney movie again and then we can move on to lgbt issues I hate this cgi trash. GIVE ME TRADITIONAL ARTWORK lol. An lgbt inspired traditionally animated disney movie would be a dream come true Human generated art
Belivet 287
An LGBT Disney character would be great. But not in a sequel for a story that's already finished, most sequels for the Disney princess movies don't work out too well. The Little Mermaid had a sequel and I don't think many people even know that Ariel has a daughter, that was straight to DVD release, but still. I think the sequel might end up like a really bad fanfiction.
JustinTrudeau 2,419
I'm not a fan of Frozen, but I love how it's wasn't centered on a princess and prince getting together. It was sister relationships and supporting each other, single or taken. To make Elsa be a lesbian will ruin this message. I want a princess who can be happy without a partner for once. I'm here for an LGBT character, but it has to be a new one. Otherwise, it would just be thrown in there in the second movie without real thought and that's not fair to the community. I fell down the stairs once as an actor.
PunkTheFunk 125,703
An LGBT main character in a Disney movie would be nice but this seems a bit unnecessary Let the good sis Elsa live in straight peace hennies
Lumi 3,512
This is so cringe-worthy and media is reporting it as if LGBT groups want to indoctrinate children. I want Disney to do it when they actually have put a lot of thought into it. I don't think the first appearance of a LGBT caracter should be forced and cheap. Disney takes a lot of time perfectioning every single detail. We just gotta wait for it. Disney will do it when they feel it's time, not because some shameful activists told them to. underneath the pine
Redstreak 6,653
It's a little shocking too see the whole "a character outside of the norm without any current knowledge of how it's actually going to be utilized?? Forced and lazy representation!!!" on GGD of all places Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~
Seeka 12,372
A third princess added to the frozen movies. I think Disney may do it just for the amount of merchandise they can sell. But honestly, I don't care. Disney adapts fairytales for films, and there are few/no fairytales that have LGBT main characters. And while there are some in mythology, they don't tend to be epic or have a lot info on them. Though I honestly think it'd be weird since Elsa is supposed to be this "woman to end all women" type of deal and don't need no romantic love. More interested in all the actual possibility of Soriku, honestly.
Pablo 8,582
Disney shouldn't be creating stories based on random peoples suggestions. It takes research and a lot of time and talent to create feature movies. They have to make money too. Not that I'm against it, but it would be a bad move for disney to use a suggestion from a teen who has no experience in film making. It would just be interesting if it happened. I personally doubt it will because Frozen is a cash cow. Edited just now by LebaneseDude.

Dominic 11,922
The point of Frozen was that you don't need a man/woman to rescue you. If she suddenly got into a relationship with a man or woman it would take away from that message and the message itself has been praised universally. They would be better to create a new film with this idea in mind from the onset, that way they'd be able to do it naturally and it wouldn't be as a result of LGBT pressure. Even though they never established else as heterosexual it would be a complete curveball and you'd get the 'They've ruined Frozen' backlash rather than the 'That's great they're making a gay character'. People are going to be sensitive so you have to do it in the correct way. The hardest thing in this world is to live in it

pink sushi 4,351
Yassss I LOVE this idea. Elsa hasn't show any interest in a man during the first movie, so they could easily have her fall in love with another princess in the sequel. Too bad there's so many disgusting homophobic people out there that Disney would never do this. It would cause a major uproar, people would boycott Disney, and they would loose millions.... Though it would be hilarious watching all those homophobic parents all of a sudden having to explain to their children why the movie they love so much is suddenly sinful and making them throw out all their Frozen merch.
