Canada's largest oil companies have shut down several operations and reduced output in others in order to allow workers to meet up with their families as the massive wildfire caused an entire city of 120,000 to be evacuated 

 

 

So far several gas stations have exploded and many homes burned tho so far None of the Nations Important Oil Industry Infrastructure has been destroyed

 

Suncor Energy (the largest oil company) has given the option for workers to remain at work location as transportation to get to family members in some cases right now is impossible.

Well, considering Fort Mcmurray is Canadas Oil Capital, and we are the worlds 6th largest producer and have the 3rd largest oil reserves, its a perfect place to make a plot to make oil go up again

 

Im not saying its a plot tho, just that its the perfect place for an oil price recovery conspiracy

 

But so far none of the important oil infrastructure stuff has been damaged as firefighters are protecting the critical infrastructures so... Yeah
