Bernie hasn't been anywhere on their radar and they have no reason to concern themselves with him now. He hasn't been vetted, by anyone...not by Hillary, the media and especially not by the GOP. You are correct, though, both Trump and the GOP will come with both barrels for Hillary...like the Republicans have always done. They would have done the same with Bernie, and an agnostic socialist (with those weird rape fantasy writings and bizarro ideas about female cancer) would have been a hard sell with a large portion of minorities and women.
