Whenever I play the left-field tracks like her ballads or You and I people are always surprised that Gaga can sing those kinds of music. And then I always follow-up with, "Yeah she's pretty diverse and could pull them off. You should listen to her albums."

:koons:

What a great lesson to learn! Gaga is so eclectic and underrated at the same time. Nobody ever suspects Paper Gangsta, Princess Die or I Wanna Be With You to be Gaga.

I stole my cousin's phone and downloaded Gaga's whole discography if that counts. :hor:

Lol this was funny.

I force my friends to buy her singles and watch her music videos. At this point they buy without any(more) pressure from me. And my boyfriend has to buy her albums. No excuses. On my Beyonce ****: partner let me upgrade ya!

That's great! About the only time my girlfriend really expressed support for Gaga out of her own accord was with the Sound of Music tribute. I really can't get her to be more open to Gaga yet.

I have taken it as a duty. It's a running gag with my siblings whenever I play her song that I'm "expressing my faith" again.

I was pushed into the Born This Way era by a friend, but I remember I hated it first, then after two years I really started to enjoy it. (I was a stan before BTW but never had the chance to really get to know Gaga) :laughga:

Yesterday I showed pictures of Gaga at the Met Gala to my straight friend and he called her vulgar and said she looked old. I challenged him to guess her age and the mother****er said 30. But I still keep singing Gaga songs next to him, mostly Marry The Night. He likes Telephone. :sis:

I feel embarrassed and cringed at the thought of all those shameless promo I did for Gaga when BTW and ARTPOP was released.:air: like OMG what was I thinking people will think I'm weird and obsessed!! Making Gaga inspired art and presented in class, make the entire class listen to Donatella and watch GUY, wrote 2 essays on Gaga.......:diane:

But I know I'll do it again when LG5 comes out :usrs:

Cause once you let it go you better know it's gone

Do you think this is what makes people hate Gaga fans sometimes? I feel like it is important that we do our best to keep her relevant and in people's minds every now and then, no?

Probably lol. Though I've learned the true meaning of the old saying "you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink" this way. Some people just can't recognize greatness :tea:

I remember playing Sexxx Dreams at a party and everyone was like OMG WHAT IS THIS HORNY SONG? They loved it though and it became a hit with my friends   That ARTPOP-promo struggle was real.

Of course. I locked all of my friends in my basement and I force them every day to listen to Gaga. Usually I play them ARTPOP, but Born This Way and Fame Monster is frequent too. As far as I know they enjoy it. :gaycat:

I have to prepare them for 2016. Someone have to buy her new album, and that will be my friends.

Sugar, spice, and everything nice.
