There are more important things than bathroom controversy. I'm hoping for Scalia Mk. II.

Maybe this is true for you, but for many of us (that actually live in the US) human rights are very important.

That's exactly why I want a conservative judge, there will be important 2nd Amendment cases coming up in the next few years.

Lol, you are a one topic person.

What you want? You don't live here. You've never even visited.

It's gross but at the same I would rather have a therapist being honest regarding his prejudice and homophobia than have one telling me BS about my sexual orientation. It sucks because it restrains the access to treatment for people but at the same time so many therapist are ignorant as **** regarding this issue so they help you to do the triage with such laws.

Ya know, I'm okay with this one. I'm okay with it because therapy is something serious and it shouldn't be done by a ****ing bigot to a person they're bigoted against. So while it's disgusting people have this anti-gay position, I'd say it's in the best interest of homosexuals and transgenders, to avoid therapists that would likely abuse them emotionally.

It's sad to say this but I agree too. Still I would make all therapists take a test to see how neutral they are on those topics.

Princess Die

This is great. This will make it easier to build a database of health professionals that break the Hippocratic Oath. They are shooting themselves in the foot.

^ this.

I honestly think the idea of religious liberty or freedom is such an asinine concept. At the end of the day it really boils down to "My strongly held beliefs (*see bigotry in disguise*) prevent me from treating and seeing another human being with the FULL respect and dignity they deserve and that I would expect people to have for me" is just ****ed up in the form of treatment or lack of treatment and it's honestly disgusting that we are even allowing it in some places :rip:

Doctors can't see a gay patient and say "oh, you're gay? black? muslim? well... my strongly held beliefs prevent me from operating on you" :air:

False, and unlike the stereotype of Americans, I'm concerned and keep informed about what goes on in other countries. :emma:

I actually think this is a good idea. A lot of people in the LGBT community who seek therapy will discuss their sexual orientation and gender identity with their counselor and seek advice about it. Who wants a bigoted asshole giving advice to these people?! :wtf: While some of them might be able to put their discriminatory views behind them to help their patients, I'm sure many would give awful advice and try to convince their patients that being LGBT "isn't right" and how they should make an attempt at living a heterosexual life. These people would be much better off seeing a different counselor.....

As of a few months ago, you had never left your province. Did you finally make it out of your little area of the world?

You are concerned about your precious guns.

You have absolutely no idea what it is like to live somewhere where you see news every night about children being shot in drive bys or about carjackings.

TBH it's probably better this way we don't want someone putting a bad idea in an emotionally vulnerable person. :wtf:

This. Why would ANY LGBT person want to be treated by a homophobe? Stop losing your heads.

If I lived in a place like that, I'd want a gun. I don't see what point you're trying to make here. :air:
