The travel warning is entire political. There is nothing unsafe about these places just because of this law.

The thing is I question if it is even a religious belief.

Most often it is not, being actually a social belief (bigotry) with justification being that it's against their religion.

These are the same people that get divorces, wear linens, and eat shellfish. They can't pick ONE ambiguous text and use it as justification while excusing the others. You can't be inconsistent in your dealings. You just can't be.

You can't, because at some point, everyone is equal under the law and needs to be treated with dignity and respect.

You're not going to a CHURCH to ask for a cake or a haircut. You're going to a NEUTRAL establishment and asking for a service. You can't refuse them when you have no legal ground. You just can't.
