She was selected as WOTY BEFORE American Horror Story, so her Golden Globe win,

Superbowl performance,

Grammy performance,

Oscar performance,

Oscar nomination,

the whole message, campaign and importance of Til It Happens To You

AND

LG5

AND

AHS SEASON SIX

and possibly Emmy nomination (for AHS and TIHTY)

are going to be considered when Bobby submits her application later.

Which female artists thus far do you think are her biggest competitors?

Rihanna just released new music but Kiss it Better and Needed Me don't seem to be as successful as Work,

Ariana's new album is yet to be released but Dangerous Woman is doing moderately,

Taylor Swift is ending her 1989 era,

I'd say Katy and Beyonce are her biggest competitors. Also I think Sia stands a chance since Billboard recognises different artists who actually contribute in a different way and not just the 'main divas' who chart well.

Jennifer Lopez seems to be another diverse artist in the music business, she starred in a TV show, is having her own residency show, judged on American Idol and just released new music from her upcoming album.

I think she might actually be Woman of the Year again this year. I feel like the only real competition she has is Beyoncé, because she's gonna release a very political album, so that may impact a lot of things. But other than that, not much can really compete against Gaga. Also, I think Sia would be more of a Powerhouse or some other award rather than Woman of the Year, because she's not that impactful unfortunately.

Let's just hope LG5 blows everyone away. If the album does well, she might even get invited to perform at the Superbowl Halftime show. Beyonce did it twice so I think Britney Spears, Rihanna, Justin Bieber and Gaga are the biggest contenders.
