Its like if @Lady Palutena decided to be dismissive all the time.  I have nothing against using a character, hell, I went through a time where I had Phoenix Wright as my username and posted gifs of him. Its just that there's a time and a thread for it.

I'm glad you are admitting things yourself. It's just people are trying to connect something unrelated to the matter of this subject. It gets me mad, because why would someone even care this much, to prove their hatred towards my name and or the way of writing. And I'm keeping this name and I will stay with my .gifs. Orphan Black is my all time favorite show since 2013, I have never enjoyed a serie so much. 

I am not, saying it again, not changing my name or way of writing because of people who don't like it.

Personally I think it is so petty to get hung up about this. It's a movie adapting literature, there is already a 70% chance this was not gonna do the anime justice with or without an all asian cast. That being said, if it bothers people so bad, just don't go and see it. It's not like you are being held down and forced to watch. 

If you don't agree that's fine. But ranting and raving about something that was probably unintentional is the true ignorance. Even at that, if it WAS intended there's not a damn thing anyone can do it.  Grow a backbone folks, not everyone and everything is perfect.

I once read a manga with blonde haired blue eyed Western looking characters, and in the live action version the actors were both brunette Asians. Lol.

I mean, I only watched it cuz I wanted to see the hot blonde guy from the manga nude like he was in the books, but the dude was brunette and he didn't get naked, so... :V

Just goes to show it pretty much depends on where and who is adapting it. Don't think that's going to get through to some people because it's a bit of an internet SJW circle-jerk in here but who knows.

If you think it's impossible to have conversations on this site about race or argue a point in order to change someone's perspective than the only reason you are posting in this thread is to validate your victim hood narrative. You want to point to someone and call them a racist because it boosts your ego by making you feel like you are actually correcting an injustice in this world, when what you are actually doing is shutting down necessary conversations.

Not a single solitary user in this thread is suggesting that one race is superior to another, no one here is being racist. So, lets agree to end that narrative from here on out.
