I wouldnlove to see Gaga on the big screen for a serious role if she is actually being considered in the first place. I hope the movie does well on the boxoffice Im watching just for Barbra Streisand alone, now imagine if Gaga was in it too... .

In every Gypsy ever Gypsy is played by a younger actress at 14, and an older one as the adult version.

In several productions, the younger Louise/Gypsy Rose Lee is played by a different, younger actress.

As a matter of fact, in the TV production from the 90s starring Bette Midler, the young Louise is played by a very young Elizabeth Moss! (A bit of trivia I love since I'm a Mad Men fan.)
