how was she 'basic'? back when she arrived at the pop scene, people would call her an 'out of this world' alien that came down to dominate the pop scene. Radio wouldn't even play just dance back then because it was too electronic. When everyone was obsessing over ugly denims and t-shirts, gaga arrived to influence her peers through music and fashion 

but yeah i kinda agree with what you're saying, but at the same time, i want gaga to be happy and do her own s**t so i'm fine with whatever she's doing. I might not agree with some of her choices but i'll be a fan forever. Unless, of course, she goes bad lol

Gaga never cared about success OVER music, It was always secondary. She was doing pop because she wanted to. I doubt LG5 won't be pop, but I'll be here for it whatever it is. And I also really doubt there won't be sexual lyrics.. she's still Lady Gaga. Some of you are being very dramatic and acting like she's a completely different person. Just wait and see. She'll be back.

She had her 'fun' era with ARTPOP now I want her to evolve and no it doesnt mean I want her to only sing ballads. Nile Rodgers/Mark Ronson will surely deliver as producers

I'm excited for LG5 whatever it's going to be and I love how happy she looks and she's absolutely beautiful but I do miss batsh*t Gaga so much. The BTW era was my fave because the fashion slayed and she was so weird. I live for her weirdness and I'm wondering if we'll get any of that on this new album. I hope her weirdo days aren't over.

Love, creation, shifting personas, what it means to be a creative person. At least that's what I've always gotten out of it. The themes you cited are there, as they are in all of her albums, to some degree. But I think what sets each of her works apart is the story told by the bigger picture (see first sentence).
