He had 100 million+ streams. That's a feat.

The album's been out for over a month and a half as well, so many people had already heard it on Tidal and millions had already pirated it, the longevity and demand is very impressive.

Anyone saying trash, go listen to the first song on the album and you'll see how embarrassing and out of touch your posts are :rip:

absolutely absurd. As a chart freak ,i don't have a problem with streaming, but i have a problem with how much percentage points it receives, as part of the equation for deciding the Billboard 200 (as well as Hot 100). It shouldn't be given as much credit as it is.

Wow, he f*cking did it!

Y'all hating because he did it with only streams. We have to move on, charts ain't gonna be the same in the future. WE and generations behind us. Really, there are very few people our age that actually buy physical copies.

The chart is changing and streams are gonna be the dominating points, we have to accept that.

So why diss Kanye when he deserves it? He did it! He has proven we're going forward and that it is possible.

Also: it's charting this week bc the album got available last friday on Spotify and Apple. Imagine if it also counted the TIDAL streams it's already gotten thru' this months. Bye haters

25K out of the 90K was pure sales. He should have sold it from day one.

Either way way this just goes to prove the power of Spotify (and now Apple Music). I guess not enough to people cared enough to get a free trial to Tidal to listen to his album. Artists just need to stop with being exclusive to one streaming service. Had it been released on all streaming services he would have had a much higher number instead of people pirating it. Tidal artists were complaining about how they don't get a good cut from Spotify, well now that ppl got the album for free and listen to those MP3 files of TLOP, Kanye is missing out on streams.

But they didn't want to count ANTI. There has been songs that have gone number one off radio play, but they changed the rules. Billboard is always changing the rules. Try Again went #1 just by radio and almost didn't count glad that rule was changed. This makes sense.

It's called changing your mind. People can do that... it's called being human. Have you said you would never do something and did it? I bet you have.
