If that was not the case, she would not have talked about transgender/transexual people. Some of them want to undergo to one or various surgeries in order to become who they want to be. And I mean She started the era with this look and she even kept the aesthetic for the tour poster. Second, she didn't have plastic surgery. She had cosmetic procedures, temporal ones. With popstars like Britney, Demi, Selena and almost all of the girls (a problem that happens to women mostly since male popstars are more standardly ''privileged'') suffer/ed from their unflattering pictures turning to memes  etc. that even when they may look funny for us, they are clearly not for them. They need to (sadly) look perfect 24/7, and if Gaga thinks that's how she looks good, let her do it. Do you change your hairstyle, looks or procedures because people told you that you looked ugly with them? I bet we all don't give two ****s about it and some of us even ignore them while others get mad at them. And finally, Gaga is a human being, she can make mistakes like the rest of us. She may regret the procedures she has done in the future or she may embrace them as a part of her past but stop with them.
