Meh. The tribute was fine. 

It was emotional but the vocals were very mediocre. Madonna is obviously not a great vocalist and she struggled through the whole performance. She wasn't bad but she didn't "slay" or had "amazing vocals", if that's your standard for great vocals then you must think Selena Gomez is the voice of our generation.

Stevie saved Purple Rain. That song deserved better, it deserves to be sung by a true vocalist.
