Doesn't she have this huge writing camp or something? I mean, I'm not trying to come for her or anything 'cause her music is amazing and she's a pretty good singer, but I'm almost certain there was something shared here about her not writing her own music. Same with Beyonce apparently.

Then again, I never really cared to look it up about either of them :laughga: so I'm just asking.

that's because her songs didn't make the cut :P they completely changed the direction of ANTI and that's why a ton of songs were cut, lol. Sia herself talked about it so it's not like it was rumor, and she's written for Rihanna before (hello Diamonds). Anyways, not trying to come for Rihanna but she does have/had  people write songs for her. I know she produces though so for people to say she's completely manufactured is kinda delusional, lol

but that's my point, she fought for her version of anti, sia stuff was probably forced by the label but she ended up with what she wanted. this is probably reasons for delays cause most of tracks we got were recorded in 2014

Are you serious? It's okay to be a fan of hers, I like a lot of her songs. But please don't be delusional here.

Her First single Pon de Replay:

Writers: Alisha Brooks, Vada Nobles, Carl Sturken, Evan Rogers

Producers: Vada Nobles, Carl Sturken, Evan Rogers.

Biggest hits: stay written and produced by Mikky Ekko (and others)

We found love: written and produced by Calvin Harris

Only girl, Don't Stop the Music, UMBRELLA ☔ and What's my name: again no writing nor producing credits for Rihanna.......

She's definitely NOT a musician. Sorry 🙏

Look at ANTi and Rated R's writing credits. She was more in control on both albums, plus she has lead credits on most of the songs on ANTi.

No producing credits. Yes she's credited in Most of them but not as the lead writer. Anyways she released Work as a lead, check it's credits and the whole "she is in control of her album" would sound a little bit non-realistic. I know it's slayin at #1 cos people don't care about these stuff, but calling ha a Musician is just too Much

Yes Ofcourse, but you said "she composes/writes/produces her music so she is musician"

After more than ten successful years and hits, NOW she remembered that she's supposed to be making her own music?!. I would NEVER look at her as a musician. And again, she's not The lead writer in any of them + no producing credits

Maybe back in the day, I could have tolerated a collab, when Rihanna could easily gain hits, but not now (and I can't see any reason why Gaga would collab with her other than to make a hit). I think Rihanna's lost her touch where she could make a single successful just for being a feature on it. Everyone thought Can't Remember To Forget You was going to blow up just because she was on it but it didn't. Work only went to #1 because there was no competition and Drake was on it. Other than that, she's really struggled to get a hit for the last 4 years, with or without help. I think she's fading out now and should just be allowed to. She already outstayed her welcome 5 years ago. She's on sheer borrowed time now and it's getting tiring. She's the last of a generation of "artists" who don't actually involve themselves much in their careers and I'm glad we're demanding more from artists now than manufactured stuff. I despair at some of you calling her a musician. It turns out that the term can mean anyone who's musically involved, as opposed to just being an instrument player, but still. When you're one of 8 people on a songwriting credit, you can hardly be called an artist. If you look back at all of Rihanna's biggest hits, barely any of them had her involvement. I think that tells you where she'd be if she was left completely to her own devices, song-writing wise.
