TiphEret 1,320
Something I really don't understand and I find hypocritical is how a country can allow illegal immigrants to pay taxes but not regularize them. I am not even speaking about the US specifically I am pretty sure it's not the only one but it lives a bitter taste when all these politicians get so worked about illegal immigrants and talked about them like the plague yet they make laws to make sure those can still pay taxes and ****... Seriously? As other members pointed it out it's a two way problem because if some hire them, then you should wonder why. Plus I don't think a wall is realistic. If walls had actually worked in the past we would know. Are you going to tell me that this country has the same practices it had before European invasion? That's not going to do anything If you think a wall, which will be funded with horrible actions justified by horrible morals, is going to stop the problems, you're horribly mistakened. The problem already extended to the point where we have U.S. drug dealers. Crazy right? Illegal immigrants aren't the only ones who distribute drugs! Okay, let the people stay in a country where they'll probably be one of the three people killed every minute. Let them be a part of the group killed everyday for speaking against the government. Let them be the ones who starve to death. Let them be the ones threatened with death to the family. Let them be the ones who remain unemployed and recruited by cartels. Let them be the ones who get tortured and raped by cartel members over there. Let them be the ones who don't actually have freedom of speech. Let them be the ones who live surrounded by corrupt officers who will imprison them for whatever reason they'd like. Because keeping them over there in that condition will help them so much, right? Taking money from people sending it, despite working hard for it, for another wall destined to fail. Yes, let's, as always, blame the citizens and affect them the most. Let's keep them in a living hell! Horrible murders? Who is benefiting from illegal immigration? The drug lords? The coyotes that rape Mexican women and children along their journey to America? I fail to see how a well regulated wall and patrol force wouldn't stop this. You obviously haven't read what I posted before. The US should be helping to stabilize Mexico and the legitimacy of their government, but in the mean time they at least need to cooperate with us on stopping the legal flow of people and especially drugs. And the thing is, we already help Mexico out a lot! We lose billions of dollars in trade deficits with Mexico every single year. How to they respond? By allowing drugs to flow into the US. Cool. Lets not pretend we don't have the power to build a wall within a year and say f*ck you too, deal with your own problems (I think that would be cruel and unnecessary and a last resort, but Mexico takes us as a trade partner for granted. If you think the country is bad now, imagine it without U.S. aide). 21 minutes ago, DrewStevens said: @GloZell Green already gave you several chairs to take several sits so I don't really have to explain anything but I will so you can understand. I said "[Your culture] is not that different than Mexican modern culture. Both countries have ****ed up cultures", so I explicitly referred to American culture in my post which implies that I believe in its existence. And yeah, Americans asked for drugs. It's not like one day out of nowhere Mexican drug lords decided to make deals with Colombian drug lords just to offer the innocent and naive Americans some drugs and then made them addicts. Drug trafficking is not just Mexico's problem or Colombia's problem, it's Murica's problem too. You implied we didn't have real culture. Everyone can go back and read what you said. It was ignorant. Moving on sis... Idk why you're harping on this "well, Americans asked to have their sons and daughters become heroine addicts and overdose and die" perspective. You sound like you are on drugs lol. You're implying that it somehow makes it OK for Mexico to let drug lords send thousands of pounds of heroine to the U.S. every year with illegal immigrants (who they also rape abuse along the way) because we "asked for it". Just know that I'm refraining from using the words that I'm thinking about to avoid WPs, chica...

I never said it was only Americans' fault but the US has some responsibility and you can't deny it. The US has been responsible for the of drug trafficking, illegal immigration, exploitation of labor in third world countries and wars but somehow the government always finds a way to make the ignorant part of the population eat that **** without even questioning it. And no, I'm not saying that the US is always the one to blame or that they are the only ones who should care about these problems, all I'm saying is that Americans can't pretend that punishing Mexico for their reckless corruption is going to fix something that's also caused and fueled by America's own reckless corruption. I'm not a supporter of illegal immigration but saying "this is your problem so you have to fix it" is horribly selfish and unfair. Mexico should do something to stop illegal immigration but the US isn't really doing much to stop citizens and companies from hiring illegal immigrants. Also the US isn't doing much to stop American companies from creating factories and offices outside of the US where thousands of people are exploited. Your whole argument about poor American children turning into drug addicts is very "think of the children". Let's not act like all drug dealers were illegal immigrants, we all know that many drug dealers and drug lords are American citizens. So once again, drug trafficking is not only Mexico's fault, it's America's fault too. Playing the victim doesn't work for the US, not after all the **** they have done and still do. If they benefit from certain problem then it's their problem too. And please don't refrain from using any word, you already called me a joke lol. Trump wants to take that away from me. But I honestly need these programs in order to graduate and make a living for myself. Your type of people want to deport me back into Mexico tho. I have literally said on this page that the US should work to stabilize Mexico and restore legitimacy to their government to help fix these problems of mass illegal immigration at the root, and in the mean time they could help us enforce existing law and stop turning a blind eye to the crime they let roll north and out of their country. We should work to solve the causes, not just the problem. 14 minutes ago, Gummy Bear said: No offense, especially because this is my first time adding a comment in THESE type of discussions. It's the law, plus it's not ethical to free ride on programs that other people pay for... at leas that's the way I was raised... 2. But my mother and father BOTH are illegal immigrants whom pay taxes. So they pay for programs that feed us (illegal immigrant scholars) and are trying to pay for my higher-education programs. Yet, Trump and the like want me out. I don't honestly understand? If you can, please educate me. But from my perspective, my kind are seen as the "rapists" and such, but I myself have been sexually assaulted by some piece-of-**** douche who thought it was okay to f--k my a-- by force without my consent (met threw Grindr), yet I am the problem? 2) Mexico has so many higher-education graduates whom have found a good living, but it's often found through illegal channels. I want to do everything legally, and cannot come into the US "legally" after 10 years, AND I'M BATELY 21! I Need some ****ing help, dude 😕😕 I cannot wait until I'm 31 in order to become successful. If I'm saying all this is because of what Trump wants to do. He doesn't want to help Mexico or do something to benefit both countries, he only wants to build a wall (without a real plan), deport illegals (again, without a real plan) and just ignore the real problem that causes and fuels illegal immigration. But the point is not about what they get from paying taxes. of course it makes sense they get the same benefits from it as a regular citizen. I mean, why do government let them pay taxes and won't regularize their situation? They benefit from it? They keep talking as if immigrants destroy the economy and it probably impact it but they are still glad those people contribute and they are needed because someone is hiring them? So why is someone hiring them? I don't know the tax an employer pays when he hire someone but in France it is pretty much as high as the pay the worker get so you can definitely see how hiring someone and paying them under the table is attractive, you could even pay them more it won't reach the amount you spend on taxes anyway. I just think that Trump is a business man obsessed with money "easy" if not stupid solution. It's not because one is rich and an entrepreneur they can run a country, unless you consider the US a company. But anyway a wall won't solve the issue at all and it would create such a big diplomatic issue that I doubt this law will ever happen anyway.
