Which Beyonce tour are you referring to? The On the Run tour only grossed less than half of the 1989 world tour and her last solo tour made less too  As much as Grammys are relatively meaningless Taylor also

I forgot this. But this is true. Taylor Swift has huge success mostly because of the US. And since the US has bigges sales with everything, it makes Taylor Swift seem bigger than she is.

True, that is why I wasn't sure when I posted Beyonce. But she still did not have the social media followers, or the album sales or the impact that other had. She is also not nearly as big worldwide as Gaga was.

Adele had more sales than her but it was expected. Taylor has been outselling herself and opening with 1M+ with every album ever since Speak Now. And 25 was kind of front loaded "impact" wise. It slayed everything for the first couple of months with Hello but nothing is happening now. Taylor grossed more than The Mrs Carter Show with lesser dates. Also 1989 was an event tour, from the surprise guests to the Apple Music deal. And Taylor was the most followed person on Instagram until Selena snatched it a couple of weeks ago

The point is having all of that impact at the same time. She is also no where near as big as Gaga was worldwide or as impactful either. Plus Gaga remain at the top of everything for like 3 years.

I live in a european country and during Gaga's peak everyone knew her songs and who she is unlike Taylor.

She only had 8 European dates compared to more than 60 North American dates, she might have topped Gaga's peak in the US but she's still pretty local and nowhere as popular in Europe as Gaga was at her peak.

People who argued Taylor did missed the fact that gaga did it On a global scale that's not seen since Madonna (or may be Britney). The media dominance and global cultural phenomenon she generated throughout those few years will be hard to top for at least another 10 years. She was POP itself during that time.

Shake It Off was top 10 in 37 countries, Blank Space in 28, Bad Blood in 21, the album top 10 almost everywhere, on top of all the iTunes and receipts full of slay that I'm too lazy to check now. The announcement stream broke streaming records worldwide and at the tour stop in Hyde Park she performed at an overcapacity of like 83k people + the sold out legs in Asia and Australia. I'm not saying she was bigger than Gaga but Taylor came pretty close

Taylor didn't tour Europe because she didn't want to, but the demand was most obviously there. All of her dates were sold out and she performed the equivalent of a stadium capacity wise in London. The promo tour she did over here when the album came out was crazy too, so the calling her local is stale, worn and old

Gaga's peak worldwide was way bigger that Taylor's.  She had a concecutive strike of 5-6 smash hits and she blew everyone away with her weird persona (the meat dress etc). Everyone was discussing for this phenomenon of an artist.
