Sure, exposure that translates into sales is every artist's goal, but Miley has huge talent and a beautiful message to back it all up (she dedicated her video of the year speech to the homeless and let one of them speak, founded an organization to help other people and always promotes animal rights). Iwontell 7,312 Posted March 29, 2016 Share Posted March 29, 2016 I think talent aside (Miley can really sing), her casting has more to do with her personality...she's playful and spontaneous, it's the kind of fun, carefree personality that could inject some life back into a format that's almost dead (I mean how many more editions of "the voice" can you take?). I'm curious to see how she'll do...I don't watch singing competitions, but she's probably going to generate viral content, be a little over the top, supply us with those gifs we didn't know we needed (Britney on X factor, anybody?)...
