I think the concept of a Batman vs Superman was an awful idea in the first place... But I love Zack Snyder, and loved Man of Steel, so I'm still gonna see this movie.

Well. There are some mixed reviews too, so some movie critics agree with you. I obviously cant continue this conversation, since I didnt see the movie. It remains to be seen if 10 years from now people will still remmember it like with Dark knight or they will forgot it like with all the Hollywood poor-reviewed movies which still made a lot of money even if the time has told us how bad they were.

Considering the role the movie has (it's the fountation to the DC universe's entrance on the big screen 100%) I believe it will. The time wil be the judge I guess...

Well, the movie is still gonna make a buttload of money, so...

Well, movies of this type always make a lot of money giving that the budget for advertisment is bigger than the budget for making the movie. The company has spend a lot of money so that you dont care if it is a movie worth watching or not.

I haven't seen it but

It was made by the same guy who made Sucker Punch - the iconic meaningful 2011 film starring Emily Browning and Oscar Isaac, and that was also highly criticized but it was amazing

so

OMG yes, Sucker Punch is SO underrated

I found out about it from the comparisons to the American McGee's Alice / Alice Madness Returns franchise. American talked about the comparison once. The film is beautiful and i want Oscar Isaac to sexually abuse me while singing "Love is the Drug" in my ear

The soundtrack is my aesthetic

I love Sucker Punch, this movie is like one spirit animal of me. Often have to defend it from other people who are usually snobby when it comes to critizing movies.

Some people understand Sucker Punch and see beyond the school girl outfits and the fights and some just see what their eyes show them

Yeah. I think its sort of like ARTPOP in a way. It flopped because nobody understood the deep concept and meaning.

Nobody paid attention to the movie. No one realized that it was a multi layer reflection of how a girl dares to plan an escape from the asylum she wasn't supposed to be in, in the first place, and also a very intelligent metaphor for feminism. People just saw it as a shitty excuse to put girls in revealing outfits. :smh:

It seems like your opinions about this movie are based on the critics reviews.have you even watched Batman V Superman?

Just because the critics gave this movie unfavorable reviews ,doesn't mean that it's an awful movie. Most of the people loved this movie.it's just the critics being unnecessarily harsh :neyde:

People that says it is all over the place must not understand the concept of flashback and dreams sequence. Or got to tied down by what they know in.comics.

Ikr.Marvel movies has ruined them. :chica:

I'll watch later but he is imo the worst choice for batman, ever.

He was actually one of the best parts of the movie! Having read Batman comics for years, I found that he was a very good Batman. Don't let his otherwise okay acting get in the way of seeing this!

Tbh, it plays out well in the movie even though I thought the fight was out of place. On a perspective level, though, it made perfect sense and I didn't like the concept at first either.

Yasss!!!! Queen of the Amazons kicks so much ass in this movie. They really made her every bit as epic as Superman. I loved that they didn't make her weak.

Gal Gagot is perfect for this role. She was one of the main highlights of this movie, tbh.

I've heard a lot about it and have no interest in seeing it. HOWEVER, everyone I've personally spoken to like Ben Affleck as Batman (which really surprised me), so I might check out a solo Batman film with him as Batman again.

Personally, I really liked Keaton in the role in Burton's versions. Those were my favorite Batman films. I loved Heath Ledger as the Joker though (Nolan's). Fantastic performance.

I should probably add a disclaimer that I don't read the comics.

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."
