Though I could spend all day on everything that is weird or wrong about Disney movies. The fact that most of Disney princesses get married while underage, or the fact that this is actually probably an awful idea for normal people.

Yes, Disney loves to be realistic.

But let's be real, Disney may involves a lesbian princess or transgender male to female princess, but we are never getting a gay prince. Why? Men do not make money in the Disney world. While Disney does have many movies not about their princesses, a story about two men isn't going to make them money.

Not to mention, there isn't many well known fairytales with gay men. At least none I know of. Let Disney find some gay fairytales just for you.

So you are telling me they are consciously making borderline homophobic heteronormative movies for money and you are still defending them? idgi. Or you are 100% pro-gay or you are not pro-gay at all, it makes no sense to spread the idea that the world should be heteronormative at the same time you are fighting for LGBT+ rights, it just doesn't make sense.

Or maybe they're making it unconsciously? This sh!t is for kids. There may be like millions of of adult Disney fans, but most of this crap is for children.

And not every child knows they are gay at like four. And those who do probably don't really care about what's on television. Not everyone thinks "oh, I'm gay, it must be a part of my everyday personality, and I must inform everyone". Like seriously. Most of my problems as child were crying over videogames and being forced to talk in front of the class.

No one has to put out gay friendly content though. I'm a gay man, and I don't have to put out gay friendly content. There doesn't have to be gay characters in anything I own. But I do.

But this is a state wide bill. It's not like their petitioning against some small cake shop. Not to mention, Disney does own Marvel now (don't they?) and considering the amount of goddamn ho-yay in Kingdom Hearts and the idea Soriku may be canon by the end of KH3, and the fact that Disney owns Pixar and How to Train Your Dragon (alongside frozen as well, maybe) had gay extras, so I think you may want to rethink about gay friendly.

They actually do. Just realize how EVERY male villain is feminine and exuberant in a way (even the females, just look at how Maleficent and Ursula act like they could be a contestant in RuPaul's Drag Race and the protagonist females act like sweet innocent lil hopeless danzels) while the protagonist males are symbols of the macho man of how a good person should act. The only movie they did that escape this formula is Beauty and the Beast, kind of. And once again you are right, no one has the slightest obligation to make any LGBT-oriented content. But you are distorting my words all the time, I am saying they shouldn't call out homophobic people when they are homophobic themselves. Are you constantly being hateful towards Native Americans? No? Congratulations, comment on how awful the Trail of Tears is all you want.

Disney house is clean sinces yeaaaaars. Disney has always been very supportive and tolerant within the compagny and I find it very wise from Disney leaders to call Georgia out.

I'm so done of people like you trying to find the littlest thing to complain. Disney just made a huge action in favor of Equality and will probably influence the decision of the State, yet you're still complaining ? God, log off for some hours. 

And don't bring the opposite sex romance card. Classical disney movies are inspired by fairytales, and I find it completely normal to follow the storyline with a prince and a princess. What you're completely neglecting is the omnipresent message of tolérance and acceptance send through the movies to the young kids. 

And what is this thing with effeminate villains? I actually can't think of one. Scar? Captain Hook? Radcliffe? Shan Yu? Shere Khan? Frollo? Gaston? Hades? None of them.

Disney has been a large and vocal supporter of the LGBT community for well over two decades now: Gay Days at their parks...that draw hundreds of thousands of people and families from the community, providing full health benefits to same sex partners of employees since 1995, their legal and monetary support in opposition of DOMA, hiring an openly gay man as president of the Disney Co.

 Disney is using their influence to affect change- to push for equal rights to remain in a state that is pushing for prejudicial legislation. How can standing for equal rights be labeled as "pulling the gay card"? That doesn't even make sense.
