Call me when Mulan actually has a female love interest. You know why there never was and there never will be a gay prince, "it's not an issue for children, parents would never allow", uhum, oh yeah. Also call me when the male villains stop being effeminate Good for their employees, what about gay boys and lesbian girls that are constantly bombarded with the message you need to find a person of the opposite gender and live happily forever after? Oh my dear f*ucking god. Disney is focused on making money, not humanitarian or LGBT awards. Though I could spend all day on everything that is weird or wrong about Disney movies. The fact that most of Disney princesses get married while underage, or the fact that this is actually probably an awful idea for normal people. Yes, Disney loves to be realistic. But let's be real, Disney may involves a lesbian princess or transgender male to female princess, but we are never getting a gay prince. Why? Men do not make money in the Disney world. While Disney does have many movies not about their princesses, a story about two men isn't going to make them money. Not to mention, there isn't many well known fairytales with gay men. At least none I know of. Let Disney find some gay fairytales just for you. Let's be real here. Disney ain't out to make great homosexual movies. they are out to make money off movies based upon fairytales.

So you are telling me they are consciously making borderline homophobic heteronormative movies for money and you are still defending them? idgi. Or you are 100% pro-gay or you are not pro-gay at all, it makes no sense to spread the idea that the world should be heteronormative at the same time you are fighting for LGBT+ rights, it just doesn't make sense. Sorry guys, I know you guys are trying your best to prove me Disney isn't the very embodiment of the heteronormative world. I'm allergic to bullshit. This sh!t is for kids. There may be like millions of of adult Disney fans, but most of this crap is for children. And not every child knows they are gay at like four. And those who do probably don't really care about what's on television. Not everyone thinks "oh, I'm gay, it must be a part of my everyday personality, and I must inform everyone". Like seriously. Most of my problems as child were crying over videogames and being forced to talk in front of the class. Like seriously, you make it sound like Disney is brainwashing children. I consider how they treat their employees far more important. Want gay princes? Go make your own damn movie. Wanna watch something now? I suggest going through some gay animation. Like seriously, it's just movies. Not everyone is offended by the fact that Disney makes money from something that is considered normal right now. Give it time, and patience. You may have what you want. But bitching about it now? It's going to annoy the ever living f*uck out of everyone around you, and also, not make anything come any faster. I'm not saying Disney has the obligation to do anything, that's true, there are many other ways to watch LGBT-oriented content. I just think that if they are gonna pull the gay card, first they need to clean their house before cleaning the world. If they don't want to create gay-friendly content, that's okay, but don't go calling out people for being homophobic either. If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating. I'm a gay man, and I don't have to put out gay friendly content. There doesn't have to be gay characters in anything I own. But I do. But this is a state wide bill. It's not like their petitioning against some small cake shop. Not to mention, Disney does own Marvel now (don't they?) and considering the amount of goddamn ho-yay in Kingdom Hearts and the idea Soriku may be canon by the end of KH3, and the fact that Disney owns Pixar and How to Train Your Dragon (alongside frozen as well, maybe) had gay extras, so I think you may want to rethink about gay friendly. But I do not care as long as they are not, like, making movies that support gay bashing and bullying. But I honestly don't mind neutral media. If all media I had to deal would had to have LGBT content (straight up homosexual relationships, not ho yay) I'd have almost no games, no movies or anything. You do not have to create gay content to be pro-gay. You honestly sound like you're a stereotypical tumblr socialist, honestly. If I'm not Native American, does that mean I'm not allowed to comment on how awful the Trail of Tears is?

Just realize how EVERY male villain is feminine and exuberant in a way (even the females, just look at how Maleficent and Ursula act like they could be a contestant in RuPaul's Drag Race and the protagonist females act like sweet innocent lil hopeless danzels) while the protagonist males are symbols of the macho man of how a good person should act. The only movie they did that escape this formula is Beauty and the Beast, kind of. And once again you are right, no one has the slightest obligation to make any LGBT-oriented content. But you are distorting my words all the time, I am saying they shouldn't call out homophobic people when they are homophobic themselves. Are you constantly being hateful towards Native Americans? No? Congratulations, comment on how awful the Trail of Tears is all you want. Bad Bromance 5,809
Good for Disney!! They're very supportive of LGBT rights. Did you all know they handle Gay/Lesbian weddings down at Disney World? Disney has always been very supportive and tolerant within the compagny and I find it very wise from Disney leaders to call Georgia out. I'm so done of people like you trying to find the littlest thing to complain. Disney just made a huge action in favor of Equality and will probably influence the decision of the State, yet you're still complaining ? God, log off for some hours. And don't bring the opposite sex romance card. Classical disney movies are inspired by fairytales, and I find it completely normal to follow the storyline with a prince and a princess. What you're completely neglecting is the omnipresent message of tolérance and acceptance send through the movies to the young kids. And what is this thing with effeminate villains? I actually can't think of one. Scar? Captain Hook? Radcliffe? Shan Yu? Shere Khan? Frollo? Gaston? Hades? None of them.

This is the last time I am quoting you cause honestly I am typing the same thing over and over again You do know that Ursula was originally made to be voiced by a drag queen? And where the f*uck did the Maleficient complaint come from? She based on evil ass witches, not lesbian stereotypes! And what men are effiminate? Hades? Jafar? Absolutely none of them. And how is making absolutely not LGBT content homophobic? Because I do not see what stupid things your are talking about in these movies (and if you have the time to point out these stupid ass things, then you need a life not associated with being a homosexual). Maybe it's because what you're saying absolutely no sense and is absolutely stupid? Go and get a life dollface instead of pointing out flaws in something that you don't support because you are hallucinating blatant homophobia within it. Get a life where being gay isn't the biggest part of you.

I never outright called you stupid. I called your argument stupid. Though i think a better, PC term would be "flawed". because absolutely no one but a conspiracy theorist would see the points you're making. But the comment on your life? Being so obsessed with your own sexuality that you have to point out flaws in a Disney films, which are based upon fairytales, which very little LGBT characters actually exist, becoming a conspiracy theorist about heteronormativity, you sounding absolutely so heterophobic, that it scares me? That I meant. I understand if being gay has caused you trouble in your life. It's done that to many of us. But no one here, except you, is picking out the flaws in Disney. And what most people are considering here, is how they treat their employees. No one is ever expecting anything gay from Disney. Ever. Ever. Ever. Disney has been a large and vocal supporter of the LGBT community for well over two decades now: Gay Days at their parks...that draw hundreds of thousands of people and families from the community, providing full health benefits to same sex partners of employees since 1995, their legal and monetary support in opposition of DOMA, hiring an openly gay man as president of the Disney Co. Disney is using their influence to affect change- to push for equal rights to remain in a state that is pushing for prejudicial legislation. How can standing for equal rights be labeled as "pulling the gay card"? That doesn't even make sense.
