Hexxx 2,244
Black Jesus. The intro sends to another dimension. A runway dimension! Lady Gaga/ Madonna/Lana /Azealia Banks/ Jazmine Sullivan/ DEEE-LITE/ Moko

Glamourpuss 29,062
My favourite is Bad Romance because not only is it an amazing song, but because of the imagery of that era and the performances we got such as the bathtub one at the XFactor UK and the video itself! But I have listened to it to death. My favourite one at the moment to listen to is Electric Chapel. It's just so perfect.

Such a masterpiece I love it! You described it perfectly. If Gaga did an album full of songs like this I would die.
Ulysses 7
Electric Chapel \o/ The techno-rock instru, the catchy verses, a mesmerizing chorus, a guitar solo handled by her voice, a religious and mysterious atmosphere while still being dancy In short Gaga's masterpiece
iloveit123 130
I suppose it could be "Pokerface" as that is the song that made me pay attention to her. But if after a time I can stand back and really consider all of her tracks, I think it's "So Happy I Could Die"... it really has a sentimental value for me, a longing feel to it, really great melody, excellent hook. It sums up Gaga for me.
Anderson123 38,181
Dance In The Dark was my favorite Gaga song back then. It had EVERYTHING, especially when I attended The Monster Ball, it solidified as my favorite Gaga song. Then I bought Born This Way and listened to the album from start to finish. The final version of Scheiße really blew my mind. I wanted to play it on super loud speakers, and I did on different parties I attended. The instrumental it's such a powerful sound and the fact that it's a fast song makes my heart beat so fast when I listen to it.
mic 1,415
Tie between TEOG and Aura. I love how these songs mix light with darkness creating some kind of original image. And I don't associate happy or sexy or sad with dark or light.
Viola 386
It's hard for me to just pick one.....but I think I'll have to go with Speechless. Loved her performance of this at The Monster Ball when I went Pantsu Nugeru Mon | Have Some Bi Rain
Logan 20,725
So Happy I Could Die. The song on the surface is talking about being happy to the point of dying, but if you dive deeper you can tell that she's feeling pain and depression. We as humans have to resort to distractions to make us forget about the pain of life. I believe she's said SHICD represents the fear of alcohol. Many people drink away their problems because it's much easier to numb the suffering than to face it.

The song goes deep and goes hard, right through my soul. Best description of that song I've ever heard Mine would have to either be Dope or Swine tbh. Dope hits me so hard because I have a precious few people that I actually connect with and that actually understand me and addiction has been a problem for me in the past. I nearly flunked out of school because of it...and the guy that got me hooked on all the garbage I was on is why I love and relate to Swine those few years in my life have, unfortunately, defined me ever since and Dope and Swine both sound like they're directly from that time. 🌸Flourishing and vibrant🌼

The rest of the song is ok, it's just the ending when it slows down. It sounded like something i'd heard in a past life if that makes any sense, even to this day listening to it gives me chills. Everything about the melody/instrumentation/lyrics of that part makes me deceased. Otherwise, you & i, bad romance, paparazzi, or so happy i could die. If you love the song The Queen you should listen to this version, since it is infinitely better than the original. The BTD insturmental compliments those slowed down vocals so well....I must have listened to tihs version at least 100 times, it's very powerful.
