In 2016 it's easily to become desensitized to reports of violence and injustice when there's a new story every 5 minutes. Pictures put a face to a crime and unless you're challenged when it comes to understanding how empathy works, empathizing with a human being that you can see is a lot stronger than empathizing with a wall of text about what some criminal did to his son. It only makes sense that as a forum with a majority of LGBT+ users, we would go out of our way to remind ourselves of the challenges we face as a community and to be grateful every day for how far our predecessors have gotten us. If you think your judgement is worth anything apply to be a moderator and be shot down at record speed Otherwise, just hit the report button and shut up about it. You on the other hand, have told me to shut up, told me to choke on a ****, called me an ass, and have made assumptions about my personal history with violence in order to make a point. Perhaps you need a few moments away from the computer to compose yourself.
