One Direction singer Harry Styles and Fionn Whitehead will star in Christopher Nolan’s World War II action-thriller “Dunkirk.”

They join Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance and Kenneth Branagh in the film, which centers on the British military evacuation of the French city of Dunkirk in 1940. “Dunkirk” will mark their feature film debuts.

Harry better be good. Nolan is one of the greatest directors of all time.

I wonder what lead this to happen? Nolan is a fantastic director and he wouldn't just hire someone for the press it'd get. I'm not a 1D fan, but has Harry ever expressed interest in acting?
