Piers Morgan found himself embroiled in a Twitter spat with Kim Kardashian West this morning, and now the presenter has hit out again at her "depressing" nude selfie.

Following up his comments in a column for the Daily Mail, Morgan wrote: "I found it all a bit depressing. Kim's 35 now, and the mother of two very young children. She still looks fantastic, and of course has every right to post as many naked pictures as she likes. It's her body, her life. But it's hard to escape the creeping suspicion that this new frenzied and frankly rather desperate attempt to 'break the internet' is happening because other younger members of her family have been grabbing all the scantily-clad attention recently, notably half-sister 20-year-old Kendall 'Instagram Queen' Jenner."

Morgan also took the opportunity to hit out at Madonna once again in the column, writing: "Every supermodel, movie and pop sex symbol (with the exception of the increasingly grotesque and embarrassing Madonna) knows there comes a time when you have to hand the baton onto the next generation, however reluctantly."

I don't like Kim and not a madge fan but he is a real tool as a person.

I wonder if he'll mention to Sean Connery and the countless other older-male "sex symbol" icons that they're too old to keep their batons.

I'm not a particular fan of either individual he's referencing as "people", but its a rich statement to make when its so clearly steeped in a gender bias.

Doesn't he have some sort of "thing" for Madonna? Like a long-standing feud?

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

''with the exception of the increasingly grotesque and embarrassing Madonna''? What's embarrassing and grotesque about Madonna? I find some kind of subtle sexism in his words and that's disgusting.

I agree with what he said about Kim, but that Madonna shade was rude and total bullshit. :awkney:

Bonkers

He just knows lots of people want to hear someone say that out loud. Someone who isn't me thought those exact things.
