Remember how she hype a lot of stuff from the album a year before it's release...then by the time she released it nobody was as interested? Also I'm pretty sure she doesn't want to make too many promises. With ARTPOP, she promised an app with extra songs etc and a second volume, and an ARTPOP gallery that was meant to come to Australia, but never did. I am honestly glad thats she's revealing nothing because that way she isn't making promises and when she's ready to announce it, it'll be epic!! Sometimes hype is bad because it lasts a short time, and so when music is built on hype, it too does not resonate within you when the hype dies. Compare 'The Fame' with ARTPOP. Which one was hyped more - which one was culturally longer lasting and on the charts? The problem is she looks uninspired and is simply boring these days. I am truly happy that she fulfils her dreams of becoming an actress and play covers of her biggest idols in front of big public, however I just don't buy it. In past every day of her life was art, now every day of her life is a 'craft' - she can do anything! She can sing opera-style, she can act, she can dance and entertain, she can spread social message through songs written by Diane, she can accompany Tony Bennett in his celebration of jazz classics, she can be cool celebrity hanging around with her bf at the parties/events. She can even imitate the vocals of the others (sound of music and other tributes). So yes she is extremely talented. But is she interesting these days? Not at all, there's no creative input, she just enjoys all the opportunities she has now. Good for her I guess. i hope she collects inspiration by it, but it's getting hard to believe she is in such creative stance as pre- The fame and pre-TFM. with ARTPOP she decided to use simplicity, but what now? Things that she never even said in the interview. Literally all she said is that she's still writing and will put it out when she's done. Why is she getting **** on for that? She has CONFIRMED the album is coming out in 2016 She has been writing and recording since the artRave ended. She has gone on a HUGE and mega effective rebranding tour when she could have chosen to do nothing. She has achieved so much since over the last year and a half, and this is how she gets treated by her own fans? Unbelievable. She has the most critical and harsh fan base.
