KyliesChild 16,907 Posted March 6, 2016 Share Posted March 6, 2016 In an Instagram post Gaga has said that her grandma didn't know she was raped until after the Oscars performance, however Til It Happens To You was released months back, along with a campaign including large people plus she has said she was raped in the Howard Stern interview in 2014 which was everywhere, so how couldn't they have known she was raped? Especially if her grandma is really old i could imagine her not wanting to. Also we dont know how their family relationships work, perhaps they didnt want her to know about it ? But she would obviously watch Gaga at something as big as the Academy awards, and maybe she just realised after seeing all the survivors, plus the meaning of the songs, it clicked for her or something. Same thing could happen with her grandma, she probably only gets news about her grandchild when she is at major events like the Oscars.
