This and "Golden" from KPop Demon Hunters (which I finally watched yesterday, it was cute) were the two songs I heard the most by far.

woah im kinda shook. im so glad fromis_9 finally getting their flowers. the new company using the momentum right. idk why cuz i like most their stuff but i kinda dont vibe with the song. its very summer 2014/2015 coded tho. 

i also watched kpop demon hunters a few days ago. ive seen the premise before: "person born with taboo/evil traits but ultimately decides to be a good person". however, it was executed rlly well and i loved the animation. soundtrack decent too. i liked takedown. this what it sounds like cute too.

dropped these girlies after dice (their best tt along with this new one: blue valentine) but decided to give their album a listen. here's my review:

first off, love the tt... def my fav from them along with dice. the song fits this season imo. the verses have this delicate haunting vibe (the way they executed this vocally perfect) to that melancholy feel good chorus. 

spinnin' on it is a very church song... can already imagine the acapella

my next fav pheonix... one word: ENERGY... perfect for an action movie soundtrack... i feel like this would be playing during a climax scene when the protagonist is fighting all the obstacles right before getting to the antagonist

reality hurts... ok now this song is for a sci-fi movie. i feel like a club remix would slap.

then are the two latin-esque songs: rico and podium. i like the later slightly more. the last chorus rlly hits with those oooos. and i like the little spanish added throughout.

game face... this ones got a chill vibe to it.

crush on you... idk what to get from this one... ig this brings one back to summer

now these last 2 songs: adore you and shape of love are my top 2 on this album. they need to make adore you the encore song. its a mother song to the tt... idk it feels older while blue valentine is youth. shape of you... now this the BRAT summer song... the chorus got that supermodel vibe... lil le ssera serve. it feels like a broken beauty.

finally onto the two O.O's. superhero overall better but baila first verse and chorus hits hard and then falls imo. i like the og better tho.

overall the album is a solid 8.5/10.

lowkey felt like kpop slacking this year so this was a pleasant surprise. def worth a listen.
