Literally, from the second he finished his acceptance speech, he's had nothing but hate and vitriol coming at him from all over the place. That's gotta suck. This probably would have ended better if he didn't do the speech and just lay low for a while until everyone forgets the Oscars. But noo he had to claim he was the first gay to win an Oscar.
