No, I'm saying the fact that she repeatedly misses out whole continents on tours and only goes to a few countries and small venues when she does (and the fact that her music has never performed well in these regions), then she can't be a global force. Actually, some artists can be liked by the whole world. Adele is one of them. Gaga is another (performed on every continent and actually goes back to them frequently). Definitely Madonna and Celine. A lot of rock bands like U2, Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, etc are also up there in the big leagues too. Then there's artists who are big but for whatever reason, can't crack some regions. Pink is much bigger than she's given credit for but she's only toured in Asia twice in her career (Japan first time, Dubai second time) and she's never done a gig in Latin America in her life. Taylor is the same - she's slowly breaking into Asia more but only select countries and she's still yet to tour in Latin America too. Rihanna hasn't had the big impact you think. She's pumped out so many songs that no one can keep track of them. I actually highly doubt most people remember who sang Pon De Replay today. And if they can, unless they're a Rihanna fan, they won't even remember what its title is as it's so unusual to an international audience. It's just remembered as "that song that goes hey mr dj."

No, of course every artist doesn't go to every continent with every tour, it's impossible to repeat that demand every time. But Gaga is making a habit of Latin American dates. She tested the waters with TMB and did a proper leg with BTWB. She missed it out with artRave because she drained the region last time and underperformed in some places, so she played it safe and didn't go (though I think she could have done arenas in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Chile, but no matter). But the only reason she's holding out is so she can hopefully do a proper leg there again with the next tour, like all artists do. You have to make them hungry for you by starving them every second tour. She'll also do a proper leg in Asia next time and definitely go to NZ again, definitely with several dates. But Rihanna is different. Not only does she rarely go to these regions over 6 tours, but she also is really strict with where she goes. For her second tour, she only went to Mexico. For the Loud tour, she only went to Brazil. And for the Diamonds tour, she only went to Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. And whenever she goes to these places, she never sells out well. After over a decade in the business, she's still yet to do a proper Latin American leg at big venues and she should have the demand after all these years if she's as big as you claim. Most pop superstars have done a big Latin American leg by their third album these days, if not before. Like I said previously, along with Pink and Taylor, Rihanna is one of the select few who have never done that.
