What happened to the Academy to not reward TIHTY?

I'm trying to understand where in this planet 'Writing's on the Wall' is the best original song. The song is LIKE as Earth Song, especially in the chorus. The music had hardly good reviews, you have seen comparisons that critics talked about the music?

I was very sorry for Gaga and Diane last night, but what bothered me most was knowing that Oscar ignored the message that was behind TIHTY. They have no idea of the **** they did.

I was thinking if don't have any rules on that Oscar can recount the votes, why is it not possible that WOTW is being called the Best Original Song it is a plagiarism of Michael Jackson.

I will never accept what they did with Gaga, she did not deserve to be ignored. Of course, Diane too always deserved, and this was the right time to win. RwFa8U9.gif

Sam Smith’s James Bond theme review ‐ ‘It feels like an X Factor ballad’

Writing’s on the Wall doesn’t feel anywhere near as striking as Skyfall. That may be because it’s essentially offering more of the same, while Skyfall felt like a break with the recent past, or it may be because it just isn’t as good a song.

I read a comment from an article that "perhaps Gaga's campaigning/private performances turned off the voting committee" or something like that.

That was ridiculous, I was wondering if they really heard the songs..

Sam had the commercial success which would sway some voters and also works well for the people who don't really care for the category because they'll vote for the song they know best. The fact that Adele won with her Bond theme probably also helped.

Did a song that was named 'the worst ever bond theme song' deserve to win? Quite frankly, no, but it did, and we can't change that.

Despite winning the Oscar, Sam has been nothing but dragged and told he didn't deserve to win. Despite not winning the Oscar, Diane and Gaga have been nothing but praised and told they did. I think I know which position I would rather be in!

They didn't, obviously. WOTW is literally the worst song among the nominees.

They don't even watch all those movies, it is all about the promo.

It is very sad you want to do something to help and simply have nothing. :ohno:
