What? Its my second favorite Disney movie after the Incredibles. I was so happy when BH6 won. And its a mix of Tokyo culture and San Francisco, so...

I also try to look at it this way:

The Oscars awarded Crash in the top award over Brokeback Mountain ten years ago.

In 1942, they awarded How Green Was My Valley (who talks about this movie anymore?) over Citizen Kane (still widely known as the greatest movie of all time).

Some of the greatest, most influential films ever made got nothing. Even just this year, films like Carol, Anomalisa, Sicario, and other superb works got nothing.

This is not the first time that Oscars have made a decision that looks stupid in hindsight, and it won't be the last.

It's one thing to have felt such response to the song's message and then not ending up with the award. It's another to see it lose to one of the worst Bond songs ever written. Heartbreaking.
