Lumi 3,512
Ray of Light is my favorite Madonna album, so mature, diverse and satisfying. It would make sense that Gaga released an alrbum like that, she's 30 next month and she finally seems to have everything in order (Hot fiancé, mansion, awards, legends on her side, universal acclaim and her upcoming dog fashion line ) Fun fact: Ray of Light was supposed to be called Mantra. I wouldn't mind if she got pregnant during this era, it seems like the right time. underneath the pine

But her impact on pop culture was SMASHING with this whole era. No popstar had even been that raw before she released Erotica/SEX. Edit : Also, it was damn cool to like and follow Madonna back in the time "I have been writing LG5 since I was 13"

Or what if she did an album like Erotica now damn! That would be messy with the Madge fandom but it would be very interesting, like a rich kind of tone to the music and like erotic pictures but not too erotic like Madge. It would be a very conceptional album and very interesting to see in this day and age and how the comments have changed since the 90s. What do you think? Why though? Why should Gaga be expected to make albums like other people? And why Madonna? Ray of Light didn't necessarily do anything new or thought provoking, sure it was well received but other than that it's rather repetitive and the sound has been heard many a time. lxdygxga 3,353
I would love a Ray of Light type album. It really has so many interesting melodies and the production values are excellent. As a Madonna fan, it's not my favorite album, but it is her best piece of work and I think Gaga could really excel in a similiar organic, natural route (eventually). What About Us 1,499
It would be great if she had some influences from Ray Of Light, but I wouldn't mind her trying some aggressive sounds too like as I mentioned (industrial, punk, aggrotech), but I'd be here for some disco pop, electro funk and whatever else comes to mind. Promise I'll always be there. Promise I'll be the cure.
