Chris Evans 8,917
I like Lorde but without the beginning piece that performance was more of a cover than a tribute
Xaylan 1,326
In my opinion, they were both great. Everyone is comparing them, and I don't see how they can do that. They sang the songs in two different ways, and they didn't even sing the same songs. They both sounded great. They're both beautiful. They both did have their disadvantages. For instance, the songs that Gaga sang were too short, and Lorde's performance wasn't "creative" even though she isn't extravagant. Anyways, in the end, they both did amazing, and we can't really compare them to each other Bc they're different.

yxi 4,999
I thought both performances were lackluster.. Gaga's performance was a mess... 10 songs in 7 minutes, each song performed for 20 seconds... The transitions between the songs were terrible, Gaga dressing up as Bowie and imitating his vocals... Lorde's performance was classy and appropriate for a tribute, but her vocals were very limited and weak Gaga singing only Life on Mars and focusing on the emotion and on delivering good vocals would have been amazing, a highlight in her career.. Alfonso 1,551
Both were good on their own way and also different tbh But It's interesting that for the Lorde tribute they used the same songs that gaga sang and in the exact order for the intro
