I know you guys hate her, but i like her and yes she was a mess but at least she apologized and has an actual point. she´s always been very flamey with either eating disorders (cause she suffered from them), mental issues (cause she´s bipolar) and women rights.

While I applaud her clear passion about this issue it's really defeatist to attack another's gesture of kindness because it didn't "impress" her. Okay then, why the **** give it any energy at all? She made the topic about herself and came off like a whiny child. "Well I don't have that kind of money to donate." First off, this sounds like a me-me-me selfish attitude. Second, no one is asking her to give money. Third, she's not exactly poor. If she wanted to donate some money I'm sure Kesha would appreciate even a thousand dollars. Hell, start up some sort of funding campaign to help her out with lawyer fees and bills or donate to a similar cause in her name for her. Just offering emotional support is enough. People help however they can, it's not a pissing contest to see who does it better. SMH. She should have stayed focus on the actual topic instead of worrying about what some other artist is doing. She is coming off as petty and derailing her whole message.

I really like Demi and Taylor a lot! And I know Demi can jump to conclusions sometimes, but I do see Demi Lavato's point. I know Taylor meant it out of love, but it looks really bad to just basically say "Oh hear is 250K so you can pay off your debt" because she IS Taylor Swift who is the most talked about artist right now and this is a very talked about situation right now. I know it sounds shady i don't mean to sound shady, it's just like for me, when i read it it kinda rubbed me the wrong way at first because i thought "woah, ok lets calm it down a little bit" but I know Taylor is a nice person.

It sucks because I try to like Demi, I really do. I've seen her live four times, and I have tickets to her tour with Nick (which will probably be cancelled because tickets are NOT selling).

Her attitude SUCKS. It's almost worse than Kanye's, because their is no artistry behind it. Demi is just a bitter soul and she is constantly complaining. Plus, she has always been pissed at Taylor because she is simply jealous of her success and her friendship with Selena Gomez. Demi even has a bitchy attitude in interviews a lot of the time even when she isn't upset over anything. And let's not forget the bad meet and greet stories She needs to get her act together and stop being a bitch honestly. Because, yes, she's a bitch.

Honestly if she's gonna be a bitch, she needs to own it. You can be the fiesty one without being so unapologetic. Look at Madonna, she's practically the most standoffish diva in the game yet people still flocked to her because she embraced it. 

Demi either needs to be the the nice girl or the bad girl. She needs to find her niche, because everything she does is so inconsistent. It seems like every pop girl has an image BUT her. Madonna is the Diva. Gaga is the rebel/outcast. Rihanna is the sex machine. Katy is the bubblegum. And Taylor is the sweetheart.

Taylor is helping to build a war chest for legal battles for Kesha against big, bad Sony.  Taylor made a statement by doing that..  That's a pretty big deal and especially such a public show of giving her that money by the biggest pop star out there right now as far as her hit album, a quarter of a million dollars..  It is a big step that will make Sony sit up and take notice.

If you guys are hating on Demi, you guys surely haven't heard of the song Til It Happens To You.

She's not my fav and while she might have said things in a rough way, she meant good. Her intentions are good and she comes from the same place Gaga came from. They both want to make a difference and voice out what they think is important.

Any of you who deviates from the real topic here that is the importance of defending sexual assault victims and put the focus on 'oh Demi why are you so bitter?', 'Gaga tweeted about it, why haven't you Taylor?', etc. are acting immature. This is not a pop star war or competition.
