And there was the meme going around with all the blue Twitter pictures from Bey and Nicki and all the Tidal group and then Gaga's Twitter pic from the AHS promo that said "When you don't get invited to the party" or something like that. Now she's got a golden globe from AHS and the Tidal crew is suffering for making their s*** exclusive. Oh, how the tables have turned.

how stupid. not only does this encourage MORE piracy [something tidal has an issue with] but you're alienating so many of your fans when it comes to album releases.

it just makes no sense as an artist to do this to your fans who buy your music, its a real punch in the face. and it also makes for a terrible marketing strategy, i just cant fathom why anybody would make such a commercially destructive choice like this.

Well, if he did get those millions from that Martin guy and he was in debt it's understandable to some extent...

Although it won't be a commercial success due to TIDAL's exclusivity Ye knows his listeners aren't old grandpas who won't know how to illegally download it. If we want it we'll get it. So... the fans will get their songs, he will get his money, and the hits that he doesn't care about, well, they will only stay in TIDAL xd

TLOP to me is a good mixture of songs, it's not that cohesive (I like the album btw) so if he cared at this point about the charts he would have added I was just writing BBHMM but I meant All day on the album
