3 years ago probably the most tragic moment in Monster history happened. february 11 was the day Gaga injured herself at the final Born This Way Ball in Montreal, Canada. in February 12 she announced that 3 upcoming shows (Chicago, Detroit and Ontario) had been postponed due to sinovitis. The day after the Haus of Gaga released the statement where the remaining shows were to be cancelled due to full injury of the singer, as stating she would be undergoing surgery to heal. Gaga hid her pain from her team in fear she would end up canceling shows and disappoint her fans. The remaining 21 shows cost Live Nations around 25 million dollars in refunds. around 200,000 tickets were refunded.

Due to her unexpected injury Gaga never made it to Madison Square Garden, where it was speculated that the DvD of the tour was going to be recorded. Fans have taken this task to themselves creating the only memories of this wonderful tour!

What was your reaction when you found out about the tours cancellation and Gaga´s injury? According to her doctors, her hip broke 3 months prior to this date, meaning she was in pain since november 2012. I remember being in my room laying in bed and reading her tweets. i immediately went online to search about her tear in her hip to grasp the idea of how bad it was. I was instantly worried for her even if i had just become a fan 2 months prior. I was so relieved when she announced the surgery was successful, and a lot more when i saw her perform again at the VMA´slater that year.

what was your favorite thing about this tour? :flutter: Do you think she´ll ever perform Scheibe again? or is it a too negative and painful memory for her?

also, this was the cause of the well known BTW-ARTPOP blackout, which had most of us at the verge of dying for knowing anything about the new music or gaga´s health.

I didnt care that my concert was canceled as I found the show to be so messy and cheesy. I was more concerned about her injury and was worried she was in critical pain.

As selfish as this sounds, i was quite pissed. It was the second concert i had tickets to of hers that i didn't get to go to.  I had been going through some really serious stuff at the time, and knowing that i was going to her concert at the end of February was helping me, by giving me something to look forward to.

But eventually i was more worried for her, than anything

I thankfully saw her in november of the year before. but the tour was great. i mean i get some of the cheesy parts but it wasnt as messy as people make it sound. its my favorite gaga tour along with the artRAVE. and of course the main focus was her health

I saw the BTWBall about a week before this happened. She was so fearless and she said something along the lines of "I'm ready to come back to earth with ARTPOP" before she left the stage. I almost died.

And then this happened and I almost cried. To know she was in so much pain right before my eyes really got to me.

I still can't believe she was able to do shows like that for 3 months with a broken hip

her case was a bit strange. it wasn´t that it tore at once. it gradually got worse during 3 months. she probably didnt feel a lot of pain in the first month and only noticed her swelling by the last couple of weeks before the accident. she still is the definition of dedication and power to me even today.

i saw her in november, and to think that even by that time she was already injuring herself is mind blowing. she had so much power and stage presence. no signal she was even slightly off. she really powered through

I remember how I completely underestimated the situation. I thought she'd recover in 3 weeks or something... I was very naive. I was so used to seeing her everywhere. She seemed immortal, I never expected anything interfering between her and her music. And suddenly she just vanished off the radar and I was very confused and hoped she'd return any day. Tough time.

But I'm only a man and I do what I can.

I don't think it was THAT specific night she injured herself. But it was that specific night that was the hay that broke the camels back so to speak.
