The comments on this thread are 80% bashing Katy and 20% defending her and some of the comments are pretty awful to be honest.  It's frustrating that we can't even discuss an artist without it turning into the same drama, which I feel like I'm starting to become apart of myself. 

The thread was created to discuss the interview and not completely tear this woman apart.  It would be better to have a thread labeled 'Critic Katy Perry' than every single one get derailed by the same back and forth bickering.

The thread was created to discuss the I terview. Negative comments and opinions, as well as positive ones are allowed. That's allowed here for all artists and that's just the way it is.

You can express a negative opinion without resorting to insults and hatred. That's just called being respectful and that's the way it is.

Of course people can. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Unfortunately, that's not something that is against the rules, so it occurs in every thread for every artist. Maybe a forum for a particular artist might be a better place for serious discussion. Just a thought.
