I just want to say that I re listened to Gaga singing the NA while trying to really focus on the lyrics and what they meant. The way she sang it was so powerful and emotional. She understands what the song means and was able to translate that through the way she sang.  I had already re played her singing probably 30 times before this but I started tearing up for the first time when I really paid attention to the lyrics. I noticed her storytelling ability before the NA from previous performances by her and I think its one of her greatest talents.

Everyone should try this! ( if you havnt already)

By the way, this is just a beautiful line, " And the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air, gave proof through the night that our flag was still there". The light produced from very violent acts allowed the soldiers to see their flag, which gave them the hope to get through the night. Gaga almost yells when she sings this line and is very convincing.

Thats my favorite part of the whole song! I was drinking my beer while watching her live, and I literally choked on my sip during the "and the rockets . . . " and tears rolled down my eyes! I cant believe our queen has that power! We knew that she was vocally talented, but now she can tell a story and give us feelings to go with it.

Yes! I thought about the way she sings TIHTY with this song too, the emotions she signs it with :)

When she sang brave at the end I thought of Born This Way

It's also relatable to Gaga's journey.

Burning down and falling to the ground, Gaga can get back up and still see that what brought us together still stands.

Because we are still here for her and for each other. In the land of the free and the home of the brave.
