Over the top, theatrical, technically adventurous, fashionable, fierce, over-hyped but still an amazing Event. She's back and I'm grateful. What a snooze the rest of the music world is in comparison (Kendrick Lamar excepted). We needed this. Here's to more of this spirit in the year to come! They are both good albums that suit entirely different purposes but there is SO much more about TPAB that is a million times more accomplished and inspiring than anything Taylor Swift has done. That was an amazing performance and of course the technology was suppose to be a bit minimal or it would overshadow her performance. I'm so proud of her, she did great. It felt like he was living through her.What she did was incredible, from the tone of her voice, to her movements, down to her emotive facial expressions. Florence not winning a single nomination for her spectacular album.. I'm actually kinda glad Taylor won AOTY to show how fraudulent the their award system has become.. Shame on the Grammys. Thought the microphone was falling off the piano and it was going to be a problem but it was just a computer malfunction that luckily corrected itself. Yeah I'm sure we'll never get the full story, but Intel's promo was probably locked in before Bowie died and they had something totally different planned. I'm sure they had to scrap a bunch of tech in order to change the performance into a tribute. (like the video cube and the flowy dress we saw in the promo).
