Petie Estie 5,704
My state is worst than any bible belt southern state there is. The government here is atrocious. I can only hope this all crashes and burns so hard the republicans here cannot gain any power in the upcoming elections. What kind of nonsense is this? Yes, that was Lawrence vs the Sate of Texas. Texas arrested two adults for supposedly engaging in consensual gay sex. In 2003 the Supreme court ruled that anti-sodomy laws were unconstitutional. There are states that still have sodomy laws on the books as symbolic gestures, they can't be enforced (though sometimes they are, illegally of course.) Warholiness 927
I know damn good and well that the Queen of Gays did not snatch the country bald with her rendition of the National Anthem so that **** sex could be banned.

US politics suck. It's not just Mississippi, slavery is alive and well in the United States of America. This is the thirteenth amendment: Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction. We have over two million adults in American prisons who are forced to make furniture, military gear, car parts, everything you can imagine, and they are being paid pennies a day, and in some cases the prisoners are being paid nothing for their labor. It's insane.
