I personally prefer 1000 Forms Of Fear , the melodies are much more darker and distinct , also the lyrics are on a whole another level in comparison to This Is Acting's lyrics.

While I do love This Is Acting , it's not that pop driven as Sia made it to be , I thought we were getting Sia's version of Teenage Dream or 1989.

The downside to 1000... is it doesn't have that many radio friendly songs other than Chandelier and Elastic Heart.

Whereas This Is Acting has Alive, Bird Set Free, Cheap Thrills, Move Your Body, Unstoppable so I'm looking forward to more singles off this album.

I give 1000... a 8.5/10

and This Is Acting a 7.5/10

How about you guys ?

Oh and does anyone know the first week sales of This Is Acting or its chart position on the Billboard 200 ?

1000fof is one of the best albums for me. It's her most honest reflection of who she is... The concept is perfect. Despair, pain etc etc.. TIA is amazing, but 1000fof is something else

I like both albums, but 1000 forms of fear has better hooks.

ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.

I really really love This Is Acting, but 1000 Forms Of Fear will always have a special place in my heart :flutter:

This Is Acting is so much more accessible and that's neither good or bad but for a casual fan, it's far easier to indulge in the music than painstakingly forcing myself to listen to 1000 Forms of Fear and only liking 5 tracks in the end. I pretty much love the majority of TIA especially Reaper, Move Your Body, Cheap Thrills and House on Fire
