Is it just me or is it kinda wasted that Gaga had to do the Bowie tribute?

Considering the value Gaga places on the artists she looks up to I'm sure she didn't even question scrapping original ideas to pay a tribute to Bowie. She'll have plenty of other opportunities to tease LG5 in other award shows, but now is the right time to honor one of her greatest influences.

To be the person selected to pay tribute to a groundbreaking legend like Bowie... that is a huge honor. And many, many music fans (whether they like Gaga or not) will be watching to see what she does. This could be huge, nevermind the Oscars and the Super Bowl.

On Topic:  I think it's wonderful that Gaga will get to perform a tribute to her favorite singer/performer.  I'm sure people will be praising her the next day because she'll nail that performance for sure!

ohh, ok. I hope she will work this Intel thing into it and while she's doing this technological thing (which probably won't last the entire performance) she should perform one of her new songs that are "bowie inspired" (if she has something fitting)

He did and he was very surprised, but he told me that Liz Taylor deserved more the Golden Globe, wich surprised me bc he's that fckg straight hahaha

It must be the greatest feeling if someone asked you to do the Bowie tribute, a tribute to your biggest influence. I think Gaga would change whatever the hell she was supposed to do for that. I mean, even if she wanted to perform Bad Romance for the first time, she'd change it. This tribute is something so big that it's obviously going to catch everyone's attention. There will be people praising her, there will be Bowie fans probably not liking it but they will talk about it. Not to mention what it must feel to Gaga to honor him.
